Behind the Camera

I started this site as a way to share my photography and my blog. My husband, Steven, and I live in Warrenton, VA with our small zoo of pets. There’s Mishka and Grisome, our two sweet Chihuahuas. Daisy Mae the Pug, which really telling you she is a Pug says it all. (Pug=crazy in case you weren’t sure.) Snickers is the resident feline and enjoys spending her time plotting against the dogs, and sometimes I think us too. Two Snakes, my handsome horse. He’s my main man and has a huge, sweet, entertaining personality. And my newest equine addition Miss Bella Bay, an Irish Sport Horse.

I find myself more often than not looking at places through the view finder of my cameras than actually taking in the action. My favorite moments are getting that perfect picture, the one that will be my favorite of that day.

So often people take pictures but never really take the time to print them out and display them. Or maybe there is something you aren’t crazy about in the picture that would otherwise be be perfect. And unless you are skilled with a tripod or position your camera on a random object and setting a timer, family photos can be hard to capture! Trust me, I know!

This is where I come in. I’d love to capture your moments so you have them to enjoy for years to come. Pictures are more than just a snapshot. They should stir emotion and grab the details of that space in time.

Also, please take the time to check out the sub link under “Behind the Camera”. It is a page about Pancreatic Diseases and raising awareness. It is a topic that I am passionate about because I live it everyday. I feel the more people we educate the more we can make strides at helping those that suffer from Pancreatic Diseases.
