The biggest reason I fell in love with our house is the yard. Steven and I both grew up in rural areas, so being in a neighborhood where you had people on top of you, walking by the front door, making noise…it was just too much for us. I’d LOVE to have a small farm with a super cute house and an amazing view but here in NoVA that can be hard to find at a reasonable price. Well, let me take that back…a reasonable price within a decent commute time and near the barn. (Even if I had a farm I’d keep Snake at Criswood.) So, anything past Warrenton was out.
When I found the house I fell in love with the floors and the floor to to ceiling windows with a view of the mountain. Not only that, but the yard makes me feel like I live in the middle of the woods. There are beautiful trees and flowers, tons of animals and lots of fireflies! This spring has also given way to some pretty flowers in the yard. I headed out to play with my camera a snap some photos of them to share.
